CHINORAMOS
Chino Ramos is an actor, singer, and musician based in NYC. He has worked in TV/film, commercials, musical theatre, opera, and classical music. He recently appeared as a co-star in Blue Bloods (CBS) and performed the role of Lincoln in Scott Sickles' THE SECOND WORLD TRILOGY at Leviathan Lab (directed by Janet Bentley).
Other stage credits include the first spanish production of In the Heights directed and choreographed by original broadway cast member Luis Salgado, the world premiere of Anne Washburn and Dave Malloy's Little Bunny Foo Foo directed by Les Waters, and the new musical Shanghai Sonatas (in development).
As a classical musician and singer, Chino has performed with the San Antonio Opera, El Paso Opera, El Paso Symphony, and has held various positions as a classical soloist in professional choral groups and churches. He currently plays in the Hell's Kitchen Laboratory Orchestra.
Chino attended the University of Texas (San Antonio and El Paso) where he studied double bass, vocal performance, and musical theatre. He also attended Hunter College to study acting under Asher Grodman. He currently trains at Stella Adler and teaches private instruction and coaching in voice, guitar, acting, and strings.
